Los mercados usan una combinacion de numeros, generalmente 4 o 5, para marcar los alimentos y así el consumidor poder identificar si un alimento es orgánico o “tradicionales” con el uso de pesticidas. Esto se conoce como PLU. Por ejemplo, el PLU #4011 es el código standard de la banana.
Si quieres comer 100% orgánico, o simplemente quieres conocer que significan esto numeros en las frutas, vegetales y hortalizas hoy comparto algunos contigo.
Si el PLU comienza con el número 9 significa que el producto es orgánico. Por ejemplo, el #94011 es el código para la banana orgánicos.
Si el PLU comienza con el número 8, significa que el alimento es genéticamente modificado. Por ejemplo, el #84011 es el código para la banana que son genéticamente modificados.
