¡Soy una app lover! Hace unas semanas me encontré en Pinterest algunas super ideas para renovar piezas del hogar. Para el post de hoy les traigo un paso a paso (DIY) para darle vida a esa mesa vieja que tienes en tu casa, haciéndole un hermoso mosaico.
Lo mejor de las renovaciones que les puedes hacer a tus muebles viejos, es que pueden ser económicos con materiales reciclados.
Necesitarás los siguientes materiales:
- Pistola de cola
- Espátula
- Esponja
- Cola de contacto
- Un mesa vieja
- Azulejos de colores (cerámicas)
- Plantilla
- Tinte colorante
- Mortero tapajuntas
- Guantes de goma
Debes tener creatividad para hacer tu plantilla. Crea un diseño que te guste. Debes adecuarte a los trozos de azulejo que tengas. Cuando ya tengas el diseño coloca cola (o cemento dependiendo de la superficie) procurando dejar un espacio no mayor a 3mm entre azulejos.
Cuando tengas listo el disñeo, recubre los espacios entre los trozos de azulejo con masa tapajuntas coloreada del color que tú quieras. Cuida que en los bordes de la mesa no se desborde el cemento. Espera hasta que la pasta se seque y retira el exceso de cemento de los azulejos.
Para terminar bien el acabado, pasa una esponja humedecida por la superficie para limpiar el mosaico.

I’m an app lover! A few weeks ago I found in Pinterest som super ideas to renew parts of the house. So, for today’s post I bring you a step by step (DIY) to spice up that old table that you have in your home, making it a beautiful mosaic.
The best of renovations is that you can make them to your old furniture, and it can be done using inexpensive recycled materials.
You’ll need the following materials:
- Glue gun
- spatula
- sponge
- Glue Contact
- An old table
- Colored tiles (ceramics)
- template
- coloring dye
- flashing mortar
- Rubber gloves
You must have creativity to make your template. Create a design that you like. You must adecuarte the pieces of tile that you have. When you already have the design puts glue (or cement depending on the surface) trying to leave a space no larger than 3 mm between tiles.
When you have your design ready, cover the spaces between the pieces of tile with flashing colored mass color you want. Take care that the edges of the table does not overflow cement. Wait until the paste to dry and remove excess cement tiles.
To get a good finish, pass a damp sponge over the surface to clean the mosaic.
