Me encantan las fiestas, compartir con amigos, familiares y conocidos y tener momentos memorables que forjan mi persona.  Hace poco vi en una de esas reuniones la cantidad de desperdicios y basura que se generan sólo en decoración, invitaciones, alimentos, latas, platos y vasos plásticos. Es por eso que se me ocurre traerle unas ideas para hacer de sus fiestas algo ecológico, hacer que sus amigos la pasen bien y cuidar al planeta al mismo tiempo.

Podemos empezar debes escoger un lugar. Yo te recomiendo un patio o jardín ya que evitarás el consumo eléctrico dentro de un lugar cerrado.  Después puedes hacer las invitaciones, que son lo primero que recibe la gente. Lo más ecológico ahorita sería enviar un email, pero si quieres presentar algo a tus invitados puedes utilizar periódicos viejos, hojas caídas y pintura. Tu creatividad es la guía para hacer el estilo de invitación. (en las fotos te dejo unas ideas con hojas)

Para la iluminación podemos utilizar luces led, que consumen poca energía, velas o la luz solar. Puedes hacer pantallas naturales para guindar de los árboles. Necesitarías un globo, cuerda de lino o yute natural, y pega líquida. Llena del globo de pega dejando un espacio circular en un extremo, y envuelve el globo con la cuerda. Cuando se haya secado, pincha el globo, amarra una cuerda al extremo abierto y guíndalo en los árboles.

Si quieres hacer decoraciones, utiliza el periódico viejo, hojas y pégalos a modo de guirnalda (te dejo un ejemplo en la galería de fotos). Puedes utilizar ladrillos viejos, colocar una vela y una planta, y funcionaría perfecto como centros de mesa. Si tienes latas viejas, con un destornillador haz siluetas con puntitos, mete una vela y colócalas en cualquier parte (en árboles o en las mesas).

I love parties, sharing with friends, family and acquaintances and have memorable moments that forged me. I recently saw in one of these meetings the amount of waste and trash generated only by decorations, invitations, food, cans, plates and plastic cups. That’s why I can come get you some ideas to make your holiday something ecological, make your friends have a good time and care for the planet at the same time.

For starters You must choose a location. I recommend a patio or garden and you will avoid power consumption within an enclosed area. Then you can make the invitations, which are the first thing people receive. The greener thing right now would be sending an email, but if you want to give something to your guests you can use old newspapers, fallen leaves and paint. Your creativity is the guide to the style of invitation. For lighting we use LED lights, which consume little power, candles or sunlight. You can make natural screens hanging from the trees. You’ll need a balloon, string linen or jute, and glue. Fill the balloon with glue leaving a circular space at one end, and wrap the balloon with the rope. When it’s dry, pop the balloon, tie a rope to the open end and hang it on trees.

If you want to make decorations, use old newspaper, leaves and glue as a garland (I leave an example in the photo gallery). You can use old bricks, place a candle and a plant, and work perfect as centerpieces. If you have old cans, with a beam screwdriver silhouettes with dots, put a candle and place them anywhere (in trees or tables).
