A smoothie that tastes like pecan pie, is it possible? Oh yes, of course it’s possible. Each sip of this smoothie, brings you the memory of these combined flavors in some of the most common desserts of Christmas.

This pecan pie smoothie is like a slice of heaven, but done in a healthy way. It’s detox! And because it’s healthier, I can tell you it is also tastier. Apart from its flavor, I added to the recipe some superfoods to give power to the vitamins that you ingest taking this juice.

So if you’re going to celebrate Christmas this year, I recommend drinking this smoothie that contains lots of fiber by pears and walnuts, it is perfect for lowering your anxiety levels and serves as fasting, breakfast and snack. Walnuts are an excellent source of phytochemicals, vitamin E, beta carotene and lutein; incredibly compounds that help detoxify the body keeping it healthy.

Pecan Pie Detox Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1.5 ounces spinach
  • 1 pear – minced
  • 1/2 cup of grapes
  • 1/4 cup of shelled walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/2 tablespoon of molasses

  • 1 cup of ice

Preparation

Mix everything in a blender and enjoy.
