El mundo está consternado con la cantidad de personas infectadas por el virus de Ébola, que mantiene a todas las naciones en alerta y parece propagarse desde los países africanos, atacando en una epidemia en sus cinco variedades llamadas como los ríos cercanos al Congo: Sedán, Zaire, Reston, Costa de Marfil y Bundinbugyo. Un filovirus de estructura filamentosa, que al parecer portan tres especies de murciélagos de fruta, causando fiebre hemorrágica severa, infecta el endotelio capilar muchas células inmunes con una letalidad entre el 25% y 90% (dependiendo de su variedad).

Se diagnostica a través de pruebas de laboratorio de máxima contención biológica hasta que pasen algunas semanas y se muestre con una especie de gripe con fatiga, fiebre, dolor de cabeza, dolor en las articulaciones, músculos y abdomen, vómito, diarrea y pérdida de apetito, erupciones cutáneas, entre otros. Aún no hay una cura o tratamiento oficial, más que intentar mantener los valores de la persona y evitar el contagio a través del contacto con sangre u otras secreciones de la persona infectada con objetos que hayan usado, es recomendable lavarse las manos con agua y jabón constantemente, protegerse con guantes y tapabocas en lugares de salud con riesgos.


What is the Feared Ebola?

The world is shocked with the amount of people infected with the Ebola virus, which keeps all nations on alert and appears to spread from African countries, attacking as an epidemic in its five varieties called as rivers near the Congo: Sedan, Zaire, Reston, Ivory Coast and Bundinbugyo.

A filovirus of filamentary structure, which apparently is carried by three species of fruit bats, causing severe hemorrhagic fever, the capillary endothelium infects many immune cells with a fatality rate between 25% and 90% (depending on variety).

It’s diagnosed through maximum biological containment laboratory tests until they pass a few weeks and is shown with a flu-like illness with fatigue, fever, headache, sore joints, muscles and abdomen, vomiting, diarrhea and loss of appetite , rashes, among others.

There is still no official cure or treatment, rather than trying to take care of the person and avoid infection through contact with blood or other body fluids of infected people with objects they have used, it’s recommended to wash hands with soap and water constantly, protect with gloves and masks on places with health risks.
