AHHHHH! Valentine’s Day. I don’t know about you, but I got to work same as usual and I
still have to keep watching over my diet and not gaining weight.
But today is a special day I decide to spend it with my sweetheart and my best friends celebrating love and life, but yes, with delicious and light drinks so I don’t have to get up later with any regrets.
These exotic light drinks also contain nutritional properties, such as mango, which contains large benefits for the skin, memory, sight, even to prevent cancer, lemon rich in vitamin C, like apple, strawberry treatment benefits obesity and skin and finally the coconut water that serves for good digestion and is low in fat.
Another possibility is alcoholic drinks such as Passion Fruit (Maracuyá) Daikiri, perfect for lovers of rum and triple sec.
Exotic light drinks for Valentine’s day!
Mango Lemonade
Ingredients
- Three medium lemons
- 1 Medium mango
- 2 Glasses of Water.
preparation
- Prepare the base: lemons we removes the peel, add water and lemon to the blender. Strain the base.
- Then add the mango, peeled, blend well.
- Add ice, blend and serve.
Sugar to taste. To decorate add a slice of lemon or a mint leaf.
Coconut Lemonade
Ingredients
- Three middle-Tahiti limes
- Natural coconut water (coconut extract directly, or, in the supermarkets you can get)
- 2 Glasses of water.
Preparation
- Blend peeled lemons with water.
- Mix the lemon base with coconut water to taste and finally add crushed ice.
Strawberry lemonade
Ingredients
- Three medium lemons
- 5 strawberries
- Sugar
- 2 cups of water
Preparation
- Prepare the base (blending the three lemons, peeled with water)
- Blend the foundation with 5 strawberries and sugar to taste.
- Decorate with a strawberry.
Apple Lemonade
Ingredients
- Three medium lemons
- 1 red apple
- Peppermint
Preparation
- Marinate the apple with mint and lemon juice for two hours before the apple take the taste of peppermint.
- The base is prepared lemon. (Liquefy lemons shelled with water)
- Blend the lemon base with peppermint that was marinated with apple. (No need to strain).
- Serve with crushed ice.
To decorate add mint leaves and a gooseberry.
Passion Fruit Cocktail Daikiri (Maracuyá Daikiri)
Ingredients
- Passion fruit (Maracuyá) juice without sugar (1 cup)
- 1 ½ oz rum
- ½ oz Triple sec
Preparation
- Passion Fruit juicing.
- Add 1 ½ oz of rum and triple sec ½ of the passion fruit juice.
- Mix well and serve in the cooler.
To decorate the edge of the glass frost it with lemon and sugar, add a strawberry or lemon to the edge of the glass.
