Actualmente, en casi cualquier lugar del mundo las mujeres podemos desempeñar cualquier trabajo, rol o profesión. Esto debemos agradecérselo a valientes mujeres que desde hace muchos años, alzaron su voz buscando una igualdad de derechos que en ese momento la sociedad consideraba imposible.

Hoy les contaré acerca de Margater Fuller (1810-1850)

Una importante propulsora de nuestra realidad actual, ella no tuvo miedo a las primeras veces y soñó en grande; en 1839 se convirtió en la primera mujer editora de una de las revistas más famosas de la época “The Dial” y años más tarde, fue la primera corresponsal femenina en Europa junto al “New York Tribune”. ¡Algo totalmente impresionante para esa fecha!

Margaret representa una luz que nos distingue en un mundo totalmente dominado por los hombres en ésa época. Y nos brindó el poder de dejar a un lado los estereotipos femeninos y así cultivar la educación y aspirar a cargos profesionales.

A ella tenemos mucho que agradecerle, sus obrar literarias trascendentales, como “Mujer en el Siglo XIX” (1845), iluminaron las mentes de innumerables féminas que durante décadas lucharon por los derechos de la mujer a nivel mundial.

¡Y no se quedó allí! También, logró ser autora de famosas obras literarias, propulsora de reformas sociales, educativas y activista del movimiento por los derechos de la mujer, entre ellos el sufragio… ¡Sí, gracias a ella podemos votar!

Gracias Margaret, por inspirarnos y mostrarnos el camino de la igualdad y la valentía. Hoy día, tus palabras y pensamientos siguen estando vigentes, aportando la inspiración necesaria para buscar el éxito personal y profesional en nuestra vida.

Women who inspire.

 Currently, almost anywhere in the world women can perform any job, role or profession. For this we must thank brave women who for many years raised their voices seeking equal rights in a society that considered it impossible.

Today I will tell you about Margater Fuller (1810-1850)

A major driver of our current reality , she had no fear of the first times and dreamed big , and in 1839 became the first woman editor of one of the most popular magazines of the time “The Dial” and years later was the first female correspondent in Europe for the “New York Tribune” . Something totally awesome for that date!

Margaret is a light that distinguishes us in a world totally dominated by men at that time. She gave us the power to put aside stereotypes and cultivate female education which allowed us to aspire to professional positions.

We have a lot to thank her, her transcendental literary work, such as “Woman in the Nineteenth Century” (1845) illuminated the minds of countless females who for decades fought for the rights of women worldwide.

And she did not stop there! Also, managed to be the author of famous novels, proponent of social educational reforms and activist of the movement for women’s rights, including suffrage… Yes, thanks to her we can vote!
