As you know, I´m a huge fan of fashion, however I also know what flatters (and what not) my type of body and what works well with my lifestyle, I always need clothes that can take me from day to night, uptown to dowtown and business meeting to friends hangout!

So, without further ado, here are my hit and misses of the spring trends 2018.

Not one, not two, but THREE of my favorite spring trends 2018 join forces for a ballerina fantasy look:

  • Tulle
  • Transparencies
  • Pastel

Combine any of these trends with denims, faux leather or spikes for a sweet/rebel look!

A little fringe never hurt no one! They can make any outfit pop and you can wear them on blouses, sandals, jackets or even accesories… What´s not to love?

FYI: Coachella is just around the corner for those who want to dive all in on this trend!

You can never go wrong with fringes or a black and white outfit.

If you are a supermodel you can probably rock this trend just as the Hadid and Jenner sisters do! But for the rest of us, mere mortals this is a really unflattering trend that will only make your features seem rounder and give you a “moon-face” look.

I get it, Yeezy is a hot brand but sometimes too much of one thing can ruin a whole outfit.

Athleisure, layering, onesies and everything Kanye-inspired can add a cool touch to your everyday wear, but carrying a “full look” doesn´t translate  well from catwalk  to real-life.

I suggest you mix and match high-street with luxury brands and even vintage findings! Create your unique style drawing outside the lines of oh-so-called “fashion”.

Who can forget this 90´s trend? Along with chokers and glitter everything, plastic is having a huge comeback fashionwise. But if you ever feel old while browsing through Forever 21´s website probably this trend isn´t for you.

Want more downsides? Yellow stains in clear plastic, horrible fitting, huge holes and sweat condensation are definitely no-nos in my book.
