If you have been reading this blog for some time, you know that I love detox recipes and have a weakness for teas. Recently someone recommended me to detox my body with a shot of ginger or turmeric, and I found this delicious option: tea detox spicy ginger and turmeric

At least 4 times a week I like to take my golden elixir that is based on a delicious turmeric tea, so this is a different choice of flavor and excellent benefits to debug your body and improve health. Nature is awesome! and the ingredients of this tea is shown.

Are you still you wondering if you should drink it? It might taste a little tangy, especially because turmeric and ginger roots are sisters … But I assure you will enjoy this tea, and take advantage of its antioxidant properties to the skin, muscle recovery and natural detoxification of your body.

Spicy ginger and turmeric detox tea

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of water
  • ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered ginger
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 lemon (juice) or lemon essential oil
  • Cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp. of raw honey (optional)

Preparation: In a saucepan combine water, turmeric, ginger, pepper and garlic and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 7 minutes. Strain and serve warm. Add the lemon juice before drinking.
