Starting the day being hangover is the worst thing. I’m not going to bore you telling you what you can drink or not because I prefer to share with you my best hangover remedies.

Hangovers are the result of excessive ingestion of alcohol. There are many symptoms which may or not appear the day after drinking alcohol, and it definitely can get worse if you smoke excessively.

What drinks to avoid

The dark spirits such as brandy, whiskey or black bottled wine contain toxic substances within the process of fermentation. These substances give color and flavor to beverages, but are responsible for triggering the hangover causing worse headaches than other spirits.

Look for liquors that are distilled three to four times if you want a lower risk of a hangover.

And yes, more often than not expensive drinks have a more rigorous process of distillation.

DIY: Hangover Remedies

1: Make a vegetable soup that includes squash, beets and carrots, they all are incredible to recover energy.

2: Pour two tablespoons of mint leaves in 1 cup boiling water. Cover and allow to cool. Take a cup adding, if desired, 1 teaspoon of organic honey thereby relieve headache and at the same time, activate the hydration process.

3: Extract the juice of two oranges, then add 1 teaspoon lime juice and a pinch of ground cumin. Drink a glass of this juice.
