Esta es una pregunta que pocos nos hacemos y que la respuesta en sí parecería bastante triste. Si el mundo que vivimos prescindiera de las plantas y sus flores, el planeta sería más seco, caluroso, aburridos. Existen una película animada que una vez me llamó la atención (Bee Movie) eran unas abejitas que debatían con los humanos por el uso sin permiso de su miel, y que entraban en un receso donde no polinizaban las flores. El mundo sin flores que se pintaba en esa película era verdaderamente deprimente.

En esta semana de la tierra quiero dedicar un espacio a lo especial e importantes que son las flores en nuestro eco sistema. El 10% de la humedad de nuestro planeta proviene de las flores, según lo confirmaron estudiantes de la Universidad de Chicago. Esto significa que en buena parte las flores provocan la lluvia. Sin ellas se modificaría de manera radical los patrones climáticos mundiales.

Casi el 80% de las plantas del planeta producen flores, las cuales en su mayoría son encargadas de la polinización de la planta para su reproducción.

En un mundo sin flores habría menos lluvia, por ende más calor y una reducción de la diversidad animal que dependen de la lluvia para existir.

What would we be without flowers?

This is a question that few of us ask to ourselves and the answer itself seems quite sad. If the world we live dispense with plants and flowers, the planet would be more dry, hot, bored. There is an animated film that once struck me (Bee Movie) were debating about bees with humans for use without permission from their honey and entered a recess where they pollinate the flowers. The world without flowers are painted in that movie was really depressing.

This earth’s week, I want to dedicate a significant space to the special and which are the flowers in our eco system. 10% of the moisture of our planet comes from the flowers, as confirmed students from the University of Chicago. This means that largely cause rain flowers. Without them radically alter global weather patterns.

Almost 80% of the plants on the planet produce flowers, which are mostly responsible for pollinating the plant for playback.

In a world without flowers would have less rain, thus more heat and reduced animal diversity that rely on rain to exist.
