I want to be honest here … I’m messy! and my pantry is one of the places showing the disaster and my lack of organization. Every time I open the pantry I say to myself “Come on, be brave… it’s time to put some order to your pantry”

I took a day when the inspiration hit me, and I decided to reorganize everything in my kitchen. Today I want to share with you 5 steps to organize your pantry, they helped me a lot to organize mine.

1. Take everything out of the pantry:

The first step is the hardest because it is always difficult to start. Take everything out of the pantry and put it on the table so you can divide it into 4 categories:

  • Products you use every day
  • Products you use a few times a week
  • Products you haven’t even open them in months and should probably use them or donate them
  • Expired products (or suspects)

VEGAN? NO PROBLEM!

2. Clean the pantry shelves:

There are many products to clean. I just get some soap and water and get to work! I also like to do a mixture of hydrogen peroxide with baking soda so they are completely clean (Read more about baking soda here)

3. Buy containers:

I use a few organizers and some glass containers, which have helped me well save space and organize my pantry. Measure your space, organized according to how it is.

4. Put everything back easily:

If you did the previous steps it will be easy to put it all back in the pantry. I recommend you clean everything with a cloth before you store it, so that your area doesn’t get dirty so quickly.

5. Write it down:

Making a list of what you have will help you use it and not let it spoil in your pantry. Also, you can make a list of things that you need to buy and supply you with the necessary. Read some ways to save money at the supermarket (Click here)
