Olive Oil Benefits

I’ve dedicated another post to this wonderful oil, because I love it! Whether at home recipes for beauty, as salad dressings, a moisturizer, as a side or alone: olive oil has an ancient history sharing the daily life of human beings … why? Apparently the Greeks, lacking technology in ancient times, saw what we know today: the benefits in nutrients vitamins, and antioxidants that this product brings to our body.

Today I want to dedicate in detail olive oil, for all my other items which include this ingredient have a fundamental validity. In its composition contains antioxidants, polyphenols, monounsaturated fats and vitamins A, D, E and K.

In its regular and moderate consumption you can benefit:

  • Your heart: by the amount of polyphenols, it has anti-inflammatory and antithrombotic properties. Olive oil in moderation helps circulation. Because it contains monoinstauradas fat reduces the risk of hypertension.
  • Your skin: This oil contains vitamin E and antioxidants, which help fight free radicals that damage skin and rust.
  • Your bones: this oil is good to protect our bones, allowing the absorption of vitamin D and calcium.
  • The amount of body mass: despite being a caloric food, it is good to deal with problems of obesity because it is more digestible than other oils, and increases the good cholesterol. Moreover, its beta sitosterol has a laxative and cleansing effect on the body.
