¡Que incómodo es un dolor de estómago! Algunos se sienten inseguros de sus propios cuerpos, y no quieren abandonar las cercanías alrededor del baño. Otros temen comer cualquier cosa, porque sienten que se tragaron unas piedras que impiden que el estómago cumpla su función. Y nunca faltan quienes quieren estar todo el día acurrucados agarrándose la barriga en posición fetal.

Hoy quiero que sepas que esos retorcijones de estómago se pueden aliviar con medicina y tips naturales. Aquí te dejo 5 tips para aliviar el dolor estomacal:

  • Infusión tibia: mi favorita es la manzanilla (chamomilla). Hiervo 30gr de flores de manzanilla en un litro de agua por 30 minutos. Esto me ayuda a hacer la digestión, calmar el dolor, y asentar el estómago
  • Coloca una compresa caliente en tu abdomen. Si tu estómago está rebelde, y sientes que tienes una batalla campal en tu cuerpo, coloca una compresa caliente por 20 minutos. ¡te aliviará!
  • Remedio de abuelita: En medio litro de agua coloca 1 cucharada de canela, albahaca, anís y menta. Deja hervir por 10 minutos y toma para calmar el dolor.
  • Té de anís: hierve 20gr de flores de anís en 1 litro de agua por 20 minutos. Esto ayuda a facilitar la digestión y es excelente para beber después de haber ingerido grandes cantidades de comida.
  • Bebida de hierbabuena: coloca 30gr de hierbabuena en 1 litro de agua, y déjalo hervir por 25 minutos. Toma una taza de esta bebida (fría o caliente) cuando te sientas mal del estómago.

Mi consejo es que intentes beber las infusiones calientes, pues su efecto es como la compresa a nivel interno. No endulces con azúcar, intenta hacerlo con miel natural.

  • warm infusion: my favorite is chamomile. Boil 30g of chamomile flowers in a liter of water for 30 minutes. This helps me digest, relieve pain, and settle the stomach
  • Place a heating pad on your belly. If your stomach is misbehaving, and feel like you have a battle on your body, put a heating pad for 20 minutes.It’ll relieve you!
  • Granny’s remedy: In half liter of water, add 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, basil, anise and mint. Boil for 10 minutes and drink it to relieve pain.
  • Anise tea: Boil 20g of anise flowers in 1 liter of water for 20 minutes. This helps aid digestion and is excellent for drinking after eating large meals.
  • Peppermint drink: Add 30g of peppermint in 1 liter of water and simmer for 25 minutes. Grab a cup of this drink (cold or hot) when you feel an upset stomach.

I recommend you to try drinking this teas while they’re hot, cause its effect is like an internal compress. Don’t sweeten with sugar, try to do it with natural honey.
