Well, sugar waxing is a fast, simple and painless option that will also improve your skin health and reduce irritation.
You just need sugar and lemon. It’s like a natural, economic and homemade wax.
You’ll need:
- 2 cups of sugar
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Water (optional)
Preparation:
Put the juice of one lemon and two cups of sugar in a medium saucepan. The juice should completely cover the sugar. (If not, add a little water until the sugar is completely covered).
Heat the mixture over medium-high heat, stirring with a wooden spoon until the sugar is completely dissolved. When it starts boiling, reduce the heat and wait until you have a thick and gooey mixture with a soft golden color (pretty much like honey).
Remove from heat and let it cool down.
Watch it really closely because if it gets burned, you´ll have to do it all over again.
How to apply it:
This paste is just as conventional wax. Spread the mixture in the area you need to wax and -without waiting- pull it in the opposite direction of hair growth.

After you´re done, apply a little moisturizer or aloe vera gel to sooth the skin.
If there are any wax remains, wash with warm water.
