Apples

It’s true when they say “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”. In a weight research made in Brazil, it was established that people who ate 3 apples a day while going on a diet lost more weight than those who didn’t.

This fruit contains pectin, a component known due to the preventive effect to colon cancer. Apples are rich in nutrients and a good source of vitamin C, dietetic fiber, phytosterol, flavonoids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

Olive oil

We all need to have some fat – control appetite. Choose monounsaturated fats like olive oil. It can keep your cholesterol under control and fill your appetite.

Careful: Stay away from hydrogenated vegetable oil, they are full of trans fat.

Avocado

This fruit has antibacterial and antifungal properties. It has lecithin of  amino acids – that prevents your liver to be overwhelmed – it helps memory and to balance one’s weight. In a research, it was discovered that people who consumed the right amount of avocado showed a visible health improvement. It balances all cholesterol levels and prevents heart attacks and strokes.

Integral cereal

Actually, this form of carbohydrates is good for you. Get some full grain ones – its fiber prevents your from being hungry.

Careful: Sometimes bread has the label “wheat”, These ones have had their nutrients and fiber removed. Choose instead those that have “integral” or “100% pure/integral wheat”.

Berries

Berries are small packages of tons of fiber: A bowl of raspberries has 6 grams!

Attention: Jam is the junk food in the fruit’s world. It has almost no fiber and a lot of added sugar.

Cannellini Beans 

They are made of starch that slows down digestion. A slow digestion might require a greater effort to burn calories, so belly fat will surely be reduced.
